Addiction Awareness Month
Break the Stigma. Support Recovery. 💜
BONEPAGE.com Recognizes Addiction Awareness Month – November.
BonePage.com is an absolutely free, sex-positive social network, which advocates freedom, human connections and expressions of any kind. We believe everyone deserves respect and help to lead a healthier life.
Addiction affects all kinds of people. They are treatable medical conditions and the biggest barrier to recovery is the stigmatizing judgments people place on addicts.
People struggling with addiction do not have to face their battles alone. Addiction does not have to define a person in recovery.
Addiction Awareness Month brings attention to the issue of addiction, how to get help and how to support people with addiction as well as how to combat negative judgment and instead bring compassion and understanding to the situation. Just acknowledging someone and having a kind word or deed can bring great relief to someone struggling with addiction.
